One of a series in the colours of the rainbow. Number inside cache no longer required.
Violet, Lavender, Purple, Lilac, Mauve, Aubergine, Heather, from very pinkish shades, to grey/blue shades, to deepest almost black, so many shades and variations, and everyone seems to have their own version of what colour is what.
The flower Violet varies from a deep blue/mauve to quite a pale shade, to even a white, and has a very sweet strong smell. Used in the perfume industry. The flower can be dipped in an eggwhite/sugar solution for cake decorating, and can be eaten.
