The cache is an ammo box hidden along the Feather River a couple of miles south of Yuba City. There is a Santa stamp in the container that you may use to stamp your cache page, your notebook or your scrapbook. You are encouraged to bring a stamp of your own and use it when signing the log. Merry Christmas!
The above coordinates will take you to a boat-launching sign. Follow the arrow on the sign which will lead you over the levee to the Boyd Pump parking lot. Park at the north end, next to the large gray rocks. Walk north on the sandy road/trail past a small oak tree on your right and a small white levee sign on your left. After about 200 yards you will come to a silver gate. Continue north on the trail for about 225 yards until you come to a two foot tall lucky metal post. (lucky?...count the nubs on it). You will find the cache eight yards east of the lucky post.
