P_chan: It appears that people are no longer welcomed at Chibichiri-gama. It's a shame really, it was a great place with a great story behind it. It was always open to the public and I always had good conversations with some of the locals I'd meet while visiting which led me to want to share this place with the geocaching community. I can't help but wonder if the increased traffic from my cache is what caused this. Oh well, I now just ask that you please honor the requests of the family members of the deceased. Thanks to those users who gave me a heads and this cache is now archived, at least it lasted as long as it did.
After looking at some of the pictures people took with trackable items I think I understand why that sign was put up. People hanging around waiting for locals to leave, loitering and letting their kids run around, and people hanging a trackable item on the the memorial stone and taking a picture. It appears that some cachers were unable to understand that this is a grave site and that proper respect needed to be rendered while looking for this cache. You wouldn't have a picnic in a graveyard, hang items on other people's headstones and take a picture, or let your kids run rampant would you? I blame myself for not stressing the importance and sensitivity of this site. It's a shame really, at least this will always be a special place for myself and hopefully others who were able to comprehend the significance of this site.
