My sons were so excited for Christmas, that they wanted to hide a cache to kill some time while waiting for St. Nick to arrive.
You are looking for a 6" x 6" lockable container. There are a few places to park. I chose to park in Winding Hollow Park and then walked back to the hiding spot. There are a few ways to approach this one and bushwhacking is minimal and may not be required at all. Check google maps and pick an approach.
Once at Ground Zero, please take a few minutes and take a look at one of the smaller fingers that feeds Gee Creek. This little creek winds back and forth throughout Winter Springs from Lake Kathryn (north of Home Depot on 17-92) to Lake Jesup. While looking at the creek take some time to reminisce about Christmas past. Oh yeah, the cache was originally filled with...........you guessed it, Christmas ornaments. Leave it to the kids!
