Welcome to Terradise Nature Preserve! This cache is just off the trail about 100 yards from the parking area. Please sign the register at the kiosk and take the easy 0.6 mile hike around the preserve if time allows. This Nature Preserve is in work and plans have been made for many improvements, come back and visit us to see our progress! If you'd like to volunteer, please contact the Marion County Parks Commission at (740) 223-4161.

The property comprising Terradise was bought by my Grandmother, Trella Romine, in 1953 and has been her home ever since. Terradise was named because she and her husband Ray believed they had found heaven on earth. Terradise has much to offer the outdoor enthusiast, spring wild flowers, many different kinds of trees and wildlife (no hunting please) and even a little geology and local history! The park you are about to enjoy was donated to the Marion County Parks Department in 1998 as a way to preserve the area for future generations. At the request of my Grandma, this cache has a nature theme. Original contents include:

Please replace the cache exactly as found to keep it from floating away during the annual spring flood!
Terrain rating goes up to a 2 in summer due to nettles!
