This is the third in a series of 9 caches placed in a rural area between Oxspring, Silkstone Common and Hoylandswaine. It is recommended that you visit the caches in number order. Under no circumstances should you try and drive to these caches – it could ruin the series so please take heed.
Most of the instructions for this series can be found on the main cache page titled I haven’t got a clue – doh! Soved so make sure you have all the information available before you set out on your journey. However as a bit of extra fun you can try and match the series of caches against the locations shown on the cache page. There is one ‘dummy’ location involved.
This cache is placed by the side of the public bridleway. Park as suggested at N53 31.241 W001 34.847 or alternatively N53 31.147 W001 35.073. Walk back to the bridleway from the Dove Valley Trail and turn right over the bridge spanning the old and the new railway lines and then continue down the public bridleway.
The cache is a small tuppaware style container covered in a bit of cammo tape and containing a pencil, log book, cache box card and a few trade items
