Geocache Description:

This is the fourth in a series of 9 caches placed in a rural area between Oxspring, Silkstone Common and Hoylandswaine. It is recommended that you visit the caches in number order. Under no circumstances should you try and drive to these caches – it could ruin the series so please take heed.

Most of the instructions for this series can be found on the main cache page titled I haven’t got a clue – doh! Soved so make sure you have all the information available before you set out on your journey. However as a bit of extra fun you can try and match the series of caches against the locations shown on the cache page. There is one ‘dummy’ location involved.

This cache is placed by the side of a public bridleway. Park as suggested at N53 31.241 W001 34.847 or alternatively N53 31.147 W001 35.073. Continue down the public bridleway all the way to the cache site passing a remarkable house as you hit the tarmac – look for the impressive golden eagle in the garden. Note for those who may be tempted to try and drive to this from the other end – it is a private road and there are signs up about Sat Nav users.

The cache is a small tuppaware style container covered in a bit of cammo tape and containing a pencil, log book, cache box card and a few trade items.
