This is a beautiful little hike about 2.5 miles. Park at the Crystal Lake trail head parking lot, just up from Trial and Washington Lake camp grounds. From the trail head that takes you to Long and Island lakes, hike west. About half way there the trail forks off to Weir Lake. It is well marked.
We like this lake because it is away from the crowds of fishers and hikers. Also there is a variety of fish at this lake. (Brookies, Cutthroat, and Greyling)
