A series of 7 caches on a circular walk. Ample parking in the
village but please park considerately. There are moderate hills to
climb on this trail and several stiles to negotiate but nothing too
strenuous.
IT IS VITAL THAT THE COVERAGE FOR THIS CACHE STAYS PUT. PLEASE
REPLACE AS FOUND. Quainton is one of Buckinghamshire's ancient
villages. The village was named following the Anglo-Saxon invasion
of this part of the country in about 613 AD. The name is made up of
two Old English elements - cwen, meaning queen, and tun meaning
farm - an estate of one of the Anglo-Saxon regional queens. By 1066
it was in the gift of Edith, consort of King Edward the Confessor.
This series can be completed from either end but if you choose to
complete it in the order we suggest, we think the views are more
pleasing. You are looking for a small cammo'd box.
