Geocache Description:

From the grand ranches, orchards and dairy farms of the past, to today's thriving wine industry, scenic parks, top hotels and golf courses, the Carmel Valley has long retained its character and charm.

One of our favorite places to visit (and cache) in Carmel Valley is Garland Ranch Regional Park. This 4500 acre park is filled with a wide variety of terrain and excellent hiking trails. It is also the home of a wonderful museum as well as a historic farm dotted with many old pieces of farming machinery.

This cache is located near the historic barn at Garland Ranch Regional Park. Please obtain a trail map at the visitor center to locate the barn.
