Geocache Description:

A Walk in the Park - Perrenaud Wildlife Habitat #2 is located in a gentle rolling forest that has been selectively cut. Care and attention are needed if heading off hiking and game trails due to deadfall in some areas.

A Walk in the Park - Perrenaud Wildlife Habitat #2 is a regular sized square LnL type container with the usual logbook, pencils, samll collection of trading items and two initial travellers.

Come on out and enjoy this lesser known park on one of the backroads off the Grand Valley Road west of Highway 22. All of the roads leading to the park are paved and well maintained year round. I have posted several key waypoints to assist with finding this unique spot. Enjoy!

BTW, there is a pretty cool LED flashlight available for the FTF of this cache.

Park History

In 1980, George Emil Perrenoud donated this land to the Alberta Sport, Recreation, Parks and Wildlife Foundation for the purpose of a wilderness park for the benefit of the residents of the Province of Alberta.
