A traditional cache in a historic cemetery at Gore Bay.
An interesting old cemetery site at Gore Bay with nice views out over the Jed River valley and the Gore Bay coastline and some early nineteenth century graves.
Walk along the beach at Gore Bay to the North side of the Jed River lagoon where you will see a sign pointing the way.
The track is pretty basic, no problem in summer but in winter you would need gumboots as it can get a bit wet in places.
Cache is a one litre clear plastic container, initial contents:
Log book, pencil, sharpener and stash letter
Fossil fern leaf
Petrified wood
Roman coin
Plastic critters
The hiding place is a little exposed so please re-hide carefully.
