Downtown Catlettsburg
Now is housed in plastic coffee container. As of 5/08 contains 2 new pencils, mini bunny, painted rocks, eraser, glitter, goo, Canadian dollar, and travel bug. This is a fairly quick park and grab item. It is not necessarily wheelchair accessible because you have to go up a stone stair or a very small incline and probably leave the chair.
In downtown Catlettsburg, there is a statue in front of the old courthouse. This statue is of a great man from Catlettsburg. He built a home which is named after him. It is now a local business. This local business is where the cache is hidden. The cache name, Res Ipsa Loquitor, is latin legal terminology for "the thing speaks for itself".
Cache is placed with permission of owner.
There is a historical marker located nearby. Take time to read it, you will find it interesting.
