Lord Darcy: Vandalised. I don't intend to replace this cache. Time to call it a day.

The John Musgrave Heritage Trail is a 35-mile walking trail across South Devon, launched in March 2006 in memory of John Musgrave, former chairman of the South Devon group of the Ramblers Association who left a £100,000 legacy to the group when he died in 2003. John was an enthusiastic walker, leading walks along some of his favourite sections of coastline here in Torbay. Torbay Coast and Countryside Trust, on behalf of the South Devon Group of the Ramblers' Association, has created the new trail which links the existing Dart Valley Trail, Torbay Totnes Trail (T3), Torbay Dart Link and South West Coast Path with new sections of path to create one complete route through Teignbridge, Torbay and South Hams. The route explores over 40 of South Devon's finest heritage features and is suitable for all types of walker, from the gentle stroller to the experienced rambler. In just a few footsteps the route moves from urban life to rural landscape, and takes in woodland, farmland, Country Park and coastline. The trail is divided into four individual sections and each section is accompanied by a series of interpretation boards.
