An easy walk once you find parking access, and a beautiful view of the Richmond skyline from the opposite side of the James river. Take time to read the nearby educational plaques and see if you can spot any of the wildlife described. I was surprised at what lives below the waters here.
Those of you interested in the history of the area might enjoy reading the free chapter Pausing for War from Ann Woodlief's book In River Time: The Way of the James before attempting the find.
Public parking is available at 37°31.583/077°26.149 across from Hull Street Station, where you will follow the path heading west along the flood wall to the cache. Approaching from the west may, at times, be obstructed due to construction on the Manchester Bridge.
