An easy multi, designed to make you take a short walk round the gardens attached to Broomfield House
The listed coords are for question one.
1. (N 51 37 027, W 000 07 003). What year did the council pay £25,000 for the house and lands? This will give you A,B,C,D
2. Coords N 51 37 047 W 000 07 119. There is a number here. What is it? This will give you E,F,G,H.
Final cache location at N51 D(E+H) EC(H-A), W 000 0(B-G) C(D+A)(F-A). Then subtract 095 from the Northing (ie from EC(H-A) and ADD 063 to the Westing (ie C(D+A)(F-A)
You are looking for a container slightly smaller than a 35mm film container.
Easy free parking is available at all times at N 51 37 034 W 000 07 185. This would also be a good place to park for the other Broomfield Park cache, Dead Tall.
The park itself is open from 08.00 (08.30 on Sunday) until dusk.
Broomfield House itself was built in the 16th century and is awaiting restoration following a fire in 1994. This work would probably have already been done if had won the BBC TV programme Restoration. Unfortunately it was not successful. The Gardens themselves however are in good condition.
