Geocache Description:

Cache is placed in parking lot, adjacent to county road, that provides public access to McKay Creek National Wildlife Refuge. It provides nice view of McKay reservoir, the foothills of the Blue Mountains and surrounding area & farmlands. While enjoying quiet of the outdoors and listening to wind in nearby Cottonwood trees you may catch a glimpse of deer, pheasants, ducks, geese, Osprey and heron. Please note what you observe in your log and share pictures. You might catch a great sunset.

You are looking for a green 8"x8" plastic container. You do not have to leave the parking lot.

Cache has some "fishing items" inside. Would like to see people trade "fishing items". Also would like to hear your fishing stories (from near & far) and please feel free to share your pictures. A chance to enjoy the outdoors and reminisce about good times.

Trackables also ok....

If you decide to visit the McKay Creek National Wildlife Refuge, please make yourself aware of their guidelines and be respectful of the wildlife and their habitat.
