Lookout: The man-made lake,

Container is now a small sistema.
Park in the first carpark, just past the public toilets.
A large sign shows the trail to the southern lookout.
Just follow the track.There are 2 swing bridges to cross and a steep track to the lookout but it's worth the effort.
This cache can be combined with the Lake Mangamahoe (GCB980), a 2 hr circuit of the lake is graded med/hard, make sure you take water and a bit of food. The lower track around the lake is probably better than the ridge track which is a bit overgrown.
