The cache is on the Lindis Pass rd, by
the Old Faithful Bridge there are two ways to the cache.
Park at S44.41.744 E169.29.611 and get wet and cross the river by
the old bridge, the cache is not far away, then you can walk the 100m to the old hut for a
look, or walk up the road for 400m and see the Old
Lindis Hotel.
At the Hotel site there are info boards about the area and the
history.
The Hotel was abandoned in 1951.

Thompsons Hut, he was the last gold miner in the area leaving in
1971.
Or you can turn off the Highway at S44.44.937 E169.30.573 there is a signpost on
the road and it about a 5km backtrack down the other side of the
river to the cache the road is gravel you might have to open an
close gates at times
but should be fine in 2WD car
The cache is 880ml camo-painted
container with log book pen and a few swaps.
