Forenaught Beach is located on the Waterford Harbour estuary between Dunmore East & Woodstown. An easy walk over flat terrain & some soft sand.
The beach lies on the north side of Creaden Head which is the most prominent headland on the County Waterford side of the estuary. The coastline of County Wexford can be seen across the water which is a distance of about 4km. This is a very quiet area as most people visit Woodstown Beach about 1km north of here. Park about 100 metres from the water at the intersection of the farm & beach tracks. There is no room to turn around if you proceed further. Enjoy the short walk along the beach & watch out for interesting objects washed ashore. The cache is a small camouflaged tupperware box.
