Located in a canyon between Scripps-Poway Parkway, I-15, and Poway Rd.
Several years ago when I found this spot there was a sign that named this canyon Turtle Gorge. I've never seen this name on a map and don't know where the name came from, but it will be this cache's name sake. The easiest way to access the trail this cache is next to is via Sabre Springs Parkway, though there may be shorter more difficult accesses. The hike to the cache is less than 1.5 miles and is mountain bike accessible.
The cache is a purple water cooler and contains:
