This beautiful area is open to fishing, hunting, wildlife observation and photography, as well as environmental education and interpretation. Several small lakes, prairie, and woodlands can be found as well as an abundance of birds, deer, and other critters. Dogs are fine here but are requested to be leashed if not engaged in hunting activities.
Park at the coordinates below – it’ll give you the best access. Take the nice 2-track through the gate and over the hill. When you reach the woodline hang a right along the edge – it’s a nice walk and will bring you quite close to where you need to be.
The Who was one of the bands I grew up with and I still enjoy listening to their music. This cache is a tip of the hat to their accomplishments. Be sure to conceal this cache well – you never know who might be watching.
