Geocache Description:

This cache has been relocated, it used to be titled "Near the secret fishin' hole". So I basically just left all the "stuff" in the container & moved it. So log is titled near the secret fishin' hole. It still has the other "finders" info in it.

You MUST park in the Blue Hole swimming area. There is NO parking near the trailhead. (You could be ticketed for parking in an unauthorized area if you park along the roadside near the trailhead.)

Walk back down the road to the trailhead on the left hand side of the road. The trailhead is located beyond the bluehole campground.

Follow the trail to your co-ordinates. It's basically a well marked/maintained trail. It's pretty flat, but there are alot of roots on the path.

This cache is located in beautiful Florida Caverns State Park. There is a fee of $4.00 to enter the park. The park opens at 8 AM & closes at dusk. Its open 365 days a year.

The container is a small rubbermaid lidlock approx. 6" x 4" x 3" painted camo colors. It should be able to hold some small trade items, coins & small TB's.

There is a log book, pen and some swag to start the cache out.

While you are in the park take some time out to see the tour cave, it's gorgeous!!!! Tour prices are $8.00 for ages 13 & up, ages 3 to 12 are $5.00 and 2 & under get in free.

There are 2 other caches on the park (Florida Caverns & Florida Caverns Bluff Trail), that you can look for.

So stop by & make it a 3fer, bring a picnic lunch and enjoy an afternoon in the park.

Here is their website if you would like further information. (visit link)

***NOTE***

I placed this cache in the winter, & weed growth was minimal. It may be thicker during the spring & summer months.
