OK people, please don't steal my cache!! My original Speleo Cache
was muggled, then Speleo 2.0 was muggled!!! My original container
for Speleo was found up on top of the hill a long way from it's
original location almost an entire year after being muggled so I am
using it and the original log from Speleo for this cache but I have
moved the cache from all the muggle activity with hopes it doesn't
disappear again. There will be no need to go into the cave unless
you desire to do so, but to me duck walking into the cave, avoiding
the bats, snakes, camel crickets, and albino fish was kind of
fun!!! PLEASE be sure to rehide the cache very well as there are
lots of muggles that "play" around this area.
This cache is hidden at a local tourist attraction for the area
that has been visited frequently by local and out of state visitors
since the 1800's. This area was originally owned by the George
Washington Baugus family which moved to Decatur County in 1890 and
built a large two-story 12 room house. There were 12 children in
the Baugus family, 6 boys and 6 girls. The house was built on their
800 acres of land near Jeanette and extended to the Tennessee
river. This tourist attraction contained a cold spring where the
Baugus family would keep milk, vegtables and other foods before the
days of refrigeration. In 1964, the Baugus mansion was completely
destroyed by fire. Please be careful and respect the beauty of this
location. Thanks for the hunt and good luck.
The cache is a full size ammo can stocked with swag and is hidden
within view of the cave area, but not inside the cave!!! Have
fun!!
