Near George Lake Dam. Short hike to the cache.
George Lake Dam regulates the water level for Fairmont's chain of 5 lakes. Over the years there have been several fights about how high to keep the lake levels. Planks are added or removed according to the rainfall and spring runoff. The creek it drains into is a great spot for fishing depending on the water levels.
Park at N43 39.882 W94 28.534.
Winter caution: The snow will drift into this area. Depending on the snowfall this could be difficult in the winter.
