After leaving the phil-harmonic, Phil noticed that many rock bands were looking for something to give them a unique sound. The mouth harp could just be that sound!

Heading east to New York, Phil answered a ad for a group looking for something "a little different". One great audition later, and the rest, they say, is history.

Unfortunately, fame was to elude Phil yet again. On the night the record label people were in the audience, Phil suffered a mouth harp accident during the sound check. The label people loved the band without the mouth harp so Phil had to look for fame and fortune elsewhere.
