As far as I can tell, this is the first active geocache in Brunei in some years. It's put at the Shell Billion Barrel Monument in Seria, celebrating the billionth barrel of oil to be produced from Brunei back in the 1990's. This is a quick trip over the border from Miri, Malaysia for the cachers trying to visit every country!
The cache is in a small tupperware container with a green lid, about 5 inches x 3 inches x 1 inch. You don't need to climb out onto the rocks to find it, but it's worth going out to the beach and sitting very still to see watch the tiny crabs come back out and roll their little sand balls around. Out on the horizon, you can see the oil platforms, and very nearby, you'll see the "nodding donkeys" pulling oil up one barrel at a time.
