In Williamson Town Park, Bushwhacking required.
This is a Geocaching.com 4-Lock container (their biggest size).
Park near the pond. Good entry is from the powerline side, but a good bit of bushwhacking and walking involved... it's part of the fun, right!? So wear boots and be ready for jaggies. At least you won't meet muggles like on the trails. It is fairly winter-accessible, but a heavy snow would hide it.
Box has some great options for the FTF (and the second and third). The best is our namesake book 'Spiderweb for Two'. It is a wonderful read with the kids, all about a school-year-long treasure hunt for a 1940's family. Also Colin's signature dollar ring (kid sized), Geocaching.com sticker & our 'Stuck on You' Travel Bug... along with a Patriot Games CD of US founding documents and other small trade items.
It is off of a bit of a deer path, so that can help you once you get close.
Congratulations to Wheelygood FTF... enjoy the Melendy's book with your kids! Great Job Captain Jon and onamission only a bit behind.
