Geocache Description:

Below the Nolin Lake Dam (Tailwaters) is a nice little park with a picnic shelter. Fun to look around, playground, too.

The Corp of Engineers maintains a nice park below the dam where you can see the water coming through, so it is very powerful rush of water when we've had plenty of rain, but slows to a trickle in the dry summer months. Lots of people like to fish in this area. There's a nice picnic shelter and playground for the kids. I had to move the cache after the flood of 2011 and it's now near the upper parking lot, rather than the lower one. Easy parking, nice view, enjoy!
