Hedge's Thelma's Stickup gave us an idea. Why not do a series of caches for the 1991 classic film Thelma and Louise!
This cache marks the location where Thelma and Louise pick up J.D. (played by Brad Pitt). After they pick up J.D., they proceed to drive north on Highway 33 towards Derby Acres.
In the movie they placed a fake concrete housing on the location for J.D. to sit on and the historic Fellows warehouse building was still standing at the time.
As the summer rolls along, we will place some more Thelma & Louise caches for you Kern County Cachers to find and we will also be updating this listing with some historical information regarding the old warehouse that used to sit here.
