Welcome to our first cache after finding so many.
This one has been placed right at the carpark for one of the
Blue Mountains' best canyon trips- Claustral- and is a short detour
from Bells Line of Road.
After you've finished with the cache we would highly recommend
you walk a further 50-100m to the south over the stile and down the
track to be rewarded with some great views of the national park and
down towards Sydney. At night you should be able to see the lights
of Sydney below.
***Cache update 20/10/10*** Note that the property over the
stile has changed hands and there is a house being built on site-
the cache is still there but you can't walk down to the
views.
Another nearby attraction is Mt Tomah botanic garden which is
also worth a visit.
You shouldn't have any trouble with muggles other than the
hordes of canyoners that descend in summer and hopefully the big
metal tower nearby doesn't play havoc with your GPSr.
