Come join us
at the Columbus Visitor’s Center to kick off a New Year of
caching! !
Our hosts will be Cibachrome and Widgeon1178. They held the
first meet & greet here in Columbus at the Visitor’s Center in
2006. We had no idea at the time that the small group of cachers
would grow into the Chattahoochee Valley Cachers with 69 caching
teams in just a couple years. Lee and Peter’s “New Year” event has
now become one of our favorite traditions!
The event is Sunday, January 27, 2:00 PM EST at the Columbus
Visitor's Center. The Visitor's Center is located at the Corner of
Front Avenue and 9th Street in Uptown Columbus. In the visitor's
Center you will have access to all of their brochures, travel and
venue information for our area.
Join us for an opportunity to meet our fellow cachers in the
area and to learn from one another. Cibachrome is lining up a guest
speaker. Then we’ll have a group meeting. You can find out about
the fun and exciting events coming up this year. We’ll end the
event with a raffle. If you have something you would like to put on
the raffle table just bring it along. If you have a topic or
something you would like to present at the event let us know and we
will add you to the agenda.
