Geocache Description:

After a plethora of new caches in the area, and a FTF at "Wicked Evil", I decided to hide a cache to say thanks. This cache was constructed with the help of my Fall 2007 GATErs. I have been meaning to find a spot to hide it and today was the day.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Late last week (1/11/07).
Having randomly driven past this area a few days ago, I was shocked at what I saw. "How is it that no one has placed a cache here?" I thought. "I will need to change this and hide something in the area."
---
Fast forward four days.
Today I awoke to a new cache in Benicia that was unfound. I snagged it and immediately decided to return the favor to all the local cachers. So, off I walked with Mae down a muddy trail without any idea where I was heading.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The fog was thick and the air was cold. Dew hung lazily on everything in sight. It was a perfect morning in my book. Approximately three tenths of a mile from our point of origin, we came to a small footbridge spanning a small creek. This is a nice little spot. This is the place.

I tried a couple spots before settling on this one. It is nothing fancy, but it is well hidden. Mother Nature supplied the perfect nook to tuck this cache tin within. Please return to the same spot in the same manner.

The cache itself is a 1.5"x4"x3" tin and it has been painted to match its surroundings. It is full of those worthless plastic fake credit cards that I have been collecting from my junk-mail for the past year. There are also a few other odds and ends inside. I have a feeling this container may rust and/or become difficult to open. Please include an update in your log, if you think it needs some work.

Why not snag the Gateway Park multi-cache on your way? Coords for stage one are just off the street from a great parking spot. Snag them then the final along the way! Shucks!
