The key to the cache location is recognising a stretch of coastline. The satellite photo is orientated normally and 800km (500 mi) west to east -

When you have done so, you will know the identity of a certain famous person who died on AB/CD/EFGH (day/month/year).
The cache is at N 50 4D.E(F-G)H, W 002 5C.EHD. It is a plastic screw-top container, 13cm long x 8cm diameter. There is room for the log book and a few small items.
Parking (40p) is at N 50 4D.CH(F-G), W 002 5C.(F-G)(D+H)C.
The shortest route to the cache is from N 50 4D.A(D+E)(B-D), W 002 5C.ACH. However, the path is very steep and treacherous when wet - be warned!
Alternatively, take a long loop to N 50 4(E+H).G(D+H)E, W 002 5C.EH(A+H) and then home in. It's a very pleasant stroll and can be made into a circular walk when you return to the main track.
GPS reception is often poor - a modern GPS was fine but an old yellow Etrex was unable to fix position. Please use the clues freely!
This cache can be combined nicely with 'The Golden Gate' and 'The Way Through The Woods' (others of ours). It's also a short diversion from the route of the Golden Cap Estate series placed by NT West Dorset.
