This is a regular sized cache packed with goodies. Since it is my very first I wanted to leave you with not only a few nice items to choose from, but also a little bit of history.

Cache is at N 52deg 30.366 E 00deg 33.631

The container is a camo med kit (no medical supplies within) It started out with: One of my Command coins (Please keep this traveling around to different caches) earrings chem-lites visitor log and a special children's log made by my daughters Kaitlyn and Eden. (Please feel free to have any kids write in this one.) Disposible camera...Have fun with this one! Support the troops braclet Golf balls Flash light

Winston Churchill said in a very famous speech "Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few." He was referring to the victory the Royal Air Force (RAF) had over the German Air Forces during WWII. One of the major airfields to support this effort was RAF Methwold which is now under your feet (If you are at the cache) Very little physical evidence remains visable except for a few pillboxes and the Battle Headquarters. What does remain are the results of those who made what we are doing today possible, those "few" members of the RAF. Enjoy the day out and imagine the activitys and sounds that used to come from the now empty field infront of you.

When you are at the cache you will also see the remains of the airfield headquarters used during times of attack by German Air Forces.

This is also a nice place to include Red Squadron's "The Son of a Beech" cache when it is activated...It's not too far away.
