This cache is located along the River Trail in Flandrau State Park. You must head South East out of the parking lots towards Schells Brewery. Dont let the trail fool you, it starts out flat and easy but to find this cache you must climb a stairway containing 115 steps. At the top of this stairway you will find a view of the river below as well as the cache!
This is a traditional cache in a small, black rubbermaid container located a short distance off of the trail.
If searching for this cache when there is snow on the ground, use extreme caution as the steps will be extremely slippery, especially on the way back down!
During the winter, please do not walk on groomed cross country ski tracks, stay to either side of the hiking/ski trails.
Dont forget to purchase a vehicle permit from the park office or self registration station. Day pass-$5 Annual-$25. Dont forget about the two other caches in Flandrau State Park!
