Geocache Description:

The coordinates listed lead you to a little blue USPS box - there is no physical cache at the starting location. Rather, the starting location has an answer to one of the questions that will bring you to the final. GEOCHECKER ADDED.

This is the twelfth in a series of caches dedicated to the ever faithful little blue boxes of the US Postal Service. How they seem to blend into my environment until I need one. Up here, we still know the difference between snail mail (coming up on the barge) and airmail, but that isn't true Outside where most mail is now airmail. Read about the history of how the mail took to the skies by visiting the links below. Through that history and a visit to the starting coordinates, you'll find what you seek.

The final is located at : N 61 aa.bcd W 149 ee.ffg

aa = the last two digits of the year of the 1st experimental mail flight.

b = the last digit of the year the Stinson Reliant monoplane was used to test airmail service to communities that didn't have landing strips.

c = The number of times that Lucky Lindy had to parachute to safety while flying airmail multiplied by 3.

d = The number you get when you total the two digits of the number of people in the Suicide Club.

ee = Add 10 to the number of pieces in the inverted Jenny jigsaw puzzle.

ff = aa times the only non-zero digit in the weekday mixed mail pickup time that occurs between 5PM and 8PM at the starting location.

g = The last digit of the year in which the first scheduled airmail service from NY to DC (through Philidelphia) was begun.

Bring a writing utensil and wait no longer, because my valentines are lost on a jet plane.... and they are waiting to be found.
