Situated in the Two Brooks Valley it stands in the hillside overlooking the ruins of the mill.
The location is very unusual for such a construction within a narrow valley. The mill, boiler house and engine house have been demolished leaving the chimney as the only visual remainder of the working history of the locality. The chimney has been restored and was made possible with grant assistance from the Pilsworth Environmental Company and the Greening Greater Manchester Fund. This is both wheelchair and buggy possible but the path is even and quite steep in places. Parking is available at Tom's Cattery the co-ords are N53 37.506 and W002 22.088
