[ENG] A cache at the railway partly still in a countryside
scenery.
[FIN] Kätkö sijaitsee avoimella alueella, joten jästivaara on
suuri. Älä spoilaa liikaa logeihin ja palauta kätkö paikalleen
hyvin. Kätköä etsiessä ei tarvitse tehdä mitään vaarallista. Kätkö
ei ole junarata-alueella.
Jos tulet autolla, älä parkkeeraa sillan alle Sipoontien varteen.
Sopiva parkkipaikka löytyy esimerkiksi Mannilantien varrelta.
Tämä kätkö on perustettu Lepolan, yhden Järvenpään kiistellyimmän
maa-alueen ympäristöön. Kätköpaikalta on näköala yli Lepolan
peltojen. Peltojen reunalla sijaitsee myös hevostallit, joten
hyvällä tuurilla saatat nähdä ratsastajia kiertämässä peltoa.

Lepolan maa-alue eteläisessä Järvenpäässä on ollut pitkään
kiistelyn kohteena. Maa-alueen omistaja, valtion omistama
Senaatti-kiinteistöt, ja Järvenpään kaupunki eivät lukuisista
yrityksistä huolimatta koskaan päässeet yhteisymmärrykseen
maa-alueen kaupoista. Tästä johtuen kaupunginvaltuusto päätti
vuonna 2006 yksimielisesti pakkolunastaa maa-alueen. Asiasta on
valitettu korkeimpaa hallinto-oikeutta myöten, mutta valitus
ympäristöministeriön myöntämästä lunastusluvasta hylättiin.
Pakkolunastuspäätöksen jälkeen Järvenpään kaupunki järjesti yleisen
arkkitehtikilpailun alueen suunnittelusta. 33 ehdotuksen joukosta
kilpailun toiselle kierrokselle valittiin viisi ehdotusta.
Kilpailun voittaja, SAARET, edusti monipuolista ja viihtyisää
asuinaluetta. Ehdotus istui rakenteellisesti hyvin järvenpääläiseen
kulttuurimaisemaan.

[ENG] The cache is located at an open area so the risk for mugglers
is big. Please do not spoil too much in the logs and return the
cache well into it's place. There is no need to do anything
dangerous when searching the cache. The cache is not located on the
railway area.
If you come by car, do not park your vehicle under the bridge along
Sipoontie. A suitable parking place can be found for example along
Mannilantie.
This cache has been founded close to Lepola, one of the most
disputed area in Järvenpää. At the cache there is a view over the
fields of Lepola. At the fields there is also a horse stall so if
you are lucky you might see horse riders riding around the
field.

Lepola; today a field, tomorrow a suburb.
The Lepola area in southern Järvenpää has been an issue for
controversary for a long time. The owner of the area,
Senaatti-kiinteistöt (owned by the state), and the city of
Järvenpää did never agree on the purchase of the area. Because of
this the town council of Järvenpää decided year 2007 to compulsory
purchase the area. The purchase has been argued to the level of the
supreme administrative court but the argument was abandoned.
After the compulsory purchase city of Järvenpää arranged a public
architect competition for planning the area. Five out of 33
suggestions were choosen to the second round of the
competition.
The winner, SAARET, represented a comprehensive and pleasant
suburb. The suggestion did fit structurally well into the cultural
landscape of Järvenpää.
