Geocache Description:

If you enjoyed the original "Through the Darkness" you will love the sequel. After a little deeper exploration in this area I realized that the traditional cache was just begging to be made into a simple multi and thus "Through the Darkness II (Twice) was placed for your hunting pleasure.

Features of the terrain that might seem normal in other locations should be considered worthy of a little careful exploration at Fort Stevens. There are "mounds" of evidence to support the existence of many hidden places in this area. Follow the paved trail until you can approach the cache location from the South. It'll be easy on bike except for the last couple hundred feet. A flashlight is highly recommended unless you want to move very slowly through the darkness.

The cache is my standard three quart plastic container painted to blend into it's surroundings. It should be an easy find if you are not afraid. There shouldn't be any lurkers save for what's in the shadows.

This is a very simple two part multicache that should only take a couple more minutes than a traditional cache and the clue to find the second location will be at the first.
