This saddens me because as an employee of the Grant Count Conservation District I was instrumental in having the signs placed upon entering the county.

The Grant County Conservation District welcomes you to Grant County!
As an employee of this District for many years, on a quarterly basis, I placed on the agenda the request for "Welcome" signs to be placed at all roads leading into the county. And for several years, the Board of Directors turned me down. Finally, I believe in desperation because I wouldn't give up, they relented and agreed to let me put out the signs. Thank you Directors for tolerating the idiosyncrasies of your former Programs Coordinator!
I have placed caches at two of these signs leading into Grant County. This is #1.
This is not handicapped accessible, and is a quick park and grab. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PEN.
