Geocache Description:

This roundabout is the one you are nearly at the Royal Birkdale course. Watch your speed as you approach from the south.

Southport is a West Coast town that is famous for a flower show,Golf the firework championships and very little tide, as the sea seems to pass it by. This year is the Liverpool Capital of Cultuer so thought we would put the caches out in recognition of the event. In recent years it has had quite a few new roundabouts and on them are some very interesting things and thought we would like to share them with you. Please remember that none of the caches are on the roundabouts but very near. Please do not park on the roundabouts, as there is parking at everyone within a short walking distance. There are no Hawthorns or nettles 25.07.08 replaced the cache with a nano.
