Geocache Description:

Number Eleven in a series of caches placed while traversing with our local Jeep club. If you've followed the rest of the Rubicon Series, you know we don't like roads!

Be forewarned that this cache is placed off a trail designed for 4X4 vehicles. Don't attempt with a car. If you look at the maps, this cache is right beside a road, believe that if you want, but you should know better if you have done any of the other "Rubicon Trail" series.

On the west side of VA, near the VA/WV borders run a myriad of trails. There are some areas that are accessible ONLY by 4X4 or hiking. We're now back at it with total of eleven caches in the series. We're always watching the logs and the more resourceful of you found various ways to sneak into the backsides of some of this series, so we're working harder to take you to the "out of the way" places that you won't see on your everyday travels, or heck, see at all if you weren't chasing this series. Directions? You can almost drive right to this if you can figure out how, and have a Jeep, otherwise it's a beautiful long hike up a mountain (cache is at 2019 feet of elevation).

** Congratulations Akroy on FTF - we had a feeling it would be you! :) **
