Our Turf Traditional Cache
soilsqueezer: It is a sad day, but it looks like I have to archive this cache. Somebody busted up the container pretty good. I no longer work at the adjacent engineering firm (or in Whatcom County for that matter) and I am unable to make the necessary repairs. It was fun while it lasted.

Just making sure that everybody knows that this is the center of our turf!
We have had a lot of fun lately defending our FTF turf (but only on work days between the hours of 7 am and 6 pm) from all other FTF chasers. During off hours, we are at home and don’t have the availability to drop and run (or really the desire to run back into Bellingham). Unfortunately we have gained a reputation in this geo-community as a group of people who don’t get much done during the work week. We want to assure everybody that we do meet our billable targets each week as consulting engineers.
Our office is located along a wonderful little trail that parallels the north/west side of Whatcom Creek. The trail was actually constructed as a memorial to the older boy who was killed in the 1999 pipeline explosion. It features jumping salmon (which are non-ferrous btw), a short totem pole, and a deck that overlooks the creek. We enjoy the easy access to the creek and tolerate the occasional noisy group of school kids that stroll by on a field trip. I have tried to figure out a way to place a cache along this trail for quite awhile, but I think I finally figured it out. So we now welcome all cachers into our turf to make a find, but be aware, this is still our turf (but only on work days between the hours of 7 am and 6 pm). The cache is large enough to hold wooden nickels and travel bugs. If you drop off an interesting geocoin, be sure that we’ll discover it! Also, the cache requires no trampling of vegetation and just a bit of a stretch from the trail.
Soilsqueezer and Mr. 4cools share the second window back from the street on the nearby office building. Feel free to stop by and wave if you come find the cache on work days between the hours of 7 am and 6 pm. Air of airjo is in the back portion of the office, but he doesn’t have an exterior window yet. One of us should be around.
