Geocache Description:

Downtown Ohio City. Generally easy with some muggling occasionally

This cache is dedicated to a local Marine who gave his life fighting for our country.
It is a 35 mm film container with a log.


Pfc. Christian D. Gurtner
Age: 19
Hometown: Ohio City, Ohio
Unit: 3rd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division, Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, Calif.
Circumstances: Killed April 2 by a non-combat weapons discharge in southern Iraq.

The memorial was placed in this corner park to commemorate Christian’s service and devotement to his country.
