The cache is enough off the blue trail so as you can't see the trail. Some inclines to get to the site with big boulders. Excellent mountainside view with Bristol/Southington down below.
This cache is in a larger than normal ammo box i got from cheaperthandirt.com. You can get excellent satellite readings up here. Popular spot so BE SURE TO RE-HIDE IT TO STAY HIDDEN. It is now in a new location, not far from previous spot but I hope it blends in with its surrounings. When you return the cache be sure to make it look like its natural as the old spot was getting plundered.
Last check the cache was overstuffed with assorted things! Take something cool, leave something better!!
The Tunxis Trail will bring you right by here. This is a harder cache and is meant for a challenge because of the longer hike(maybe not for the little kids).
You can enter from Lake Ave in Bristol. I entered from a field on Beecher Rd in Wolcott(around N41 38.090,W072 56.817) GFD Chuck reports its posted no trespassing so you should think of using his approach from N41 38.667 W072 55.433.
