Geocache Description:

                 Dead Centre

This is a short "multi" with a hike in the woods and a little bit of thinking thrown in for fun. The calculations can be done in the field using a number of methods. I used one method to set-up the cache and another to verify it. First of all, head out to the posted coordinates of  N45 20.849 and W75 33.962.  Once there you will find a tag on a tree. This is a black plastic Dyno tag affixed to the tree. Consider this first spot to be point "A" .  The information on the tag will send you to a new location. Head off to that location where you again will find a similar tag on a tree. You are now standing at  point "B".  The coordinates on this second tree are for the last point of interest: point "C".  Do not bother walking to the last point as there is nothing there. Sit where you are at point "B" and do some thinking because....

You are now armed with three locations:  Points "A" "B", and "C".

The cache is located an equal distance from all three points........yup, dead in the centre.

Now, you could eye-ball it and take a guess as to where the cache is located but that could involve a lot of hiking through the woods, or you could think about it and use your GPSr . Your choice.

Good luck. The cache is an 7"x 4" camouflaged container hanging on a tree in plain view that is within a reasonable searching distance of "dead centre". And once again my signature FTF prize .....something from Tim Horton's.
