Islander sat in the small shop, sipping a cup of tea. His contact hadn't yet shown; perhaps it had become too dangerous. It was way past their meeting time.
He checked his watch again; time to give up and go.
Islander went to the counter and paid his bill. The waitress passed him his change and a fortune cookie. As he left the shop he cracked the cookie open and looked at the slip of paper inside.
