Geocache Description:

I'm a big fan of hiking and biking in the rain!
It adds alot more adventure to the trip, I love the smell of the air, particularly in the mountains right after a rain and if I'm out doing some urban caching there's usually no muggles to interfere with my searching.
I had planned for the past few days to come up here to check out some area's I've not been to before, keeping an eye on the weather forecasts all week. I knew I'd probably be rained on so I called my friend Dale to come along with me to make sure I had a buddy with me. (Darn, I miss Mrs. Foghead!)
The rain was coming down lightly as we were leaving the parking area . It added a whole new perspective to the area around the pond.
We couldn't get a scenic view anywhere in our almost 500 foot climb because of the cloud cover, but that only peeked our interest as to what kind of a great view there must be on a clear day. We went from light to heavy to light rain on our trip up and back. It was peaceful yet exhilarting trip.
Using a gortex jacket, rainpants and boots, I stayed totally dry and it made the trip up worth it. This for me was a fun and adventuresome cache placement. I'm sure 99% of you won't venture out into a rainstorm to find this cache but I just wanted you to know what fun you're missing.
We stopped at this location because we didn't want to start what seemed to be heading back downhill and it was an interesting area with all the old grapevines and the old trailer sitting close by. There's great satellite reception up here so you should have no problems finding the cache.
I hope you enjoy your trip even if it's not in the rain.

'Life isn't about how to survive the storm, but how to dance in the
rain.

Any logs that give any kind of hint that the Cacher was inside of the park without a permit or during hours that the park is closed will be immediately removed!!!!
