First, a little history about this cache. Maybe it will help someone. I wanted to place this cache at the intersection of Brunswick Road and Highway 385. That is close to where I live and I could maintain it easily. Also, there were about 5,000 - 10,000 grey rocks there for erosion control. I wanted to drill a hole in one of them and secure a pill container inside, then place it back among all those rocks. It would be like trying to find a needle in a hay stack with the needle inserted into one strand of hay.
But, it got disapproved because of being too close to a bridge. And, the intersection really wasn’t the safest place either. I began thinking of other places that had lots of rocks and not much traffic. An old abandoned railroad would be perfect. I needed to do some caching in this area anyway so I began to look for a good spot to place my ‘MagicRock’. I thought about naming this one that, but I have another idea for that name.
So now you know you are looking for a rock. Well, not any more. The container was a rock with a hole drilled in the bottom and a micro glued inside. It was covered with invisible ink. 385nm is the frequency of 'black light' so that was what I intended for you to use to find it. This rock was under the trestle among all the other rocks there. It kept loosing it's illuminating quality under black light, and the rock was not secure enough to stay put so I've changed it out. You are no longer looking for a rock, rather a Tupperware container about 2X2X2 inches. It is still under the trestle on the East side of the water. The first section is too short to get under easily so try the next section. The container is NOT on the ground. And in keeping with the 385nm black light idea...I've covered a railroad metal plate with this ink stuff. Don't let it hit you in the head as it is not that secure.
